Biography

“The way the young American Alyssa Filardo explored the depths and shallows, gave the melancholy of some melodies the space they needed, and the lustful lyricism of other passages the freedom they deserved, was an expression of a sensual understanding of the work, but also of a convincing, individual style […] A thoroughly successful premiere of the pianist in Zorneding, where - judging by the many minutes of applause and shouts of bravo - the audience seems to be looking forward to the next encounter.” - Ulrich Pfaffenberger, Süddeutsche Zeitung *

"The 27-year-old mastered the quiet passages as well as the powerful fast runs. One can hope that it will not be the last time that the musician, who moved to Munich a year ago, performs in the district. This was also the opinion of the audience, who vehemently applauded a further piano solo.”
